Cougar Dragons excel at Dragon Zone 500

Killarney rose above all expectations to finish 5th in the "C" division final at the Dragon Zone 500 regatta. There were less than than 2 seconds difference between the 3rd and 5th placed teams in the final, with Killarney racing against much more experienced youth and adult teams. The Cougar Dragons paddled extremely well and showed that we will be a real contender for the Rio Tinto Alcan Festival later in June. Congratulations to all the Cougar Dragons for their hard work over the past weeks of practice. Thanks to Coach Todd, Steersperson Steven and our new 'team mum' Ms. Mendoza for your help.
